If you're a social entrepreneur, or in some way involved in social enterprise, here are some blogs, websites, and other things that you might find useful. It's a bit random - I've got 20 minutes to write something and I want to have it ready for some training I'm going to tomorrow - but here goes.
You could start at my social business planning blog. And from there take a look at the School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE) blog, which is the best social enterprise related blog I've found - lots of good writing, and plenty of useful links, including a post on social entrepreneur blogs. The SSE also has a group on Facebook.
The Craigslist nonprofit bootcamp has some useful resources, whilst Forth Sector has a decent business planning guide.
Unltd are one of the first places to look for support for social entrepreneurs - and their link up with Bebo - the Be Cause Awards - is worth looking at too.
Social enterprise in the United States is pretty well advanced, and there are some useful web resources from there - including the Institute for Social Entrepreneurs. The np enterprise forum is a yahoo group for social entrepreneurs and is a good place to get questions answered. It's run by the Social Enterprise Alliance - their site is also worth a look.
Social Enterprise Magazine have a decent website, and, whilst it's not a great site, the Social Enterprise Coalition is the national body for social enterprise in the UK, so worth a look. The Office of the Third Sector site tells you what the Government's up to when it comes to social enterprise.
Here's a post from the SSE blog on social networking for good, and here's a good link from there to TED talks.
